ABOUT MEG:

Hi I'm Meg - I’m a landscape and botanical still life artist and paint from my home studio in Brisbane, surrounded by the bush and garden. I have always been passionate about painting and took it up more seriously in late 2021 and am so excited to be sharing something that brings me so much joy!

I am a self-taught artist and paint still life arrangements of things found in my garden - native flowers and fruits paired with interesting ceramics and fabrics. I also paint landscapes inspired by rural Australia. I paint with acrylic on canvas and layer colours, often painting thickly, to create dimension and texture.

Whilst I still teach part-time at my kids' school, I have been lucky enough to exhibit and sell my work through various art shows, a number of galleries and various stockists, as well as commissions and via my website and Instagram.
