Elle is passionate about art and styling her home into a colourful and bold sanctuary for her family of three in their home near Melbourne, Australia.
Elle grew up in a creative family between a farm in rural New South Wales and remote communities in the Northern Territory. This inspired within her a love of the vast and ever changing Australian landscape, which continues to be a strong influence in her art practice. She uses a combination of brush and palette knife using acrylic on canvas, and every now and again you will catch a glimpse of metallic gold leaf and oil stick in order to create a lush and unique mixed media work.
Elle’s paintings are all about conjuring a sense of connectedness to the land, using colour and shape to evoke emotion, memory and a sense of place. She hopes that her paintings will add colour to the homes they live in and bring happiness to all those who see them.
