Wild Heart of the Bush (33 x 33cm) Emma Andrews

I’m an emerging illustrator and concept artist, based in Brisbane, Australia. I'm inspired to create! I want to create unique and impactful illustrations and concept art imagery that inspires others and brings stories and ideas to life. ​I love to play with different colours and lighting to create captivating artworks that evoke different moods and magical atmospheres. I like to create doors into other worlds and I am inspired by finding magic in the ordinary.  ​I often find myself stopping in the middle of the street to admire and take photos of unusual looking Leaves, interesting textures, cracks in the pavement that look like faces, the sky, beautiful lighting and clouds that resemble fantastical creatures! While some people look a little confused when I try to explain why I’m taking photos of the ground I find that this process brings me many new ideas and inspires my artworks! ​I have completed a Bachelor in Animation, with a major in art direction at Griffith University in 2021. I did an animation degree because I have a strong love for visual storytelling which I find helps enhance and inform my concept art and illustrations.
