About Joanne:

I’m a Dalby-based artist, Mum to two teenage boys and a lifelong lover of paint, colour and creativity. While my full-time job is as a primary school Deputy Principal, art has been part of my world for as long as I can remember; weaving its way through the busy, beautiful chaos of everyday life. I paint mainly in acrylics and oils and take my inspiration from the things that make me smile most - florals in full bloom, animals with attitude and the wonderful personalities of horses, cattle, and our much-loved household pets. My work is all about bringing colour, character and a little bit of fun to the canvas, celebrating the joy found in the ordinary moments and turning them into something special to cherish.
