About the Artist
Negin Maddock is an illustrator, surface designer, and printmaker from Sydney, Australia. At university she studied mechanical engineering, and later a PhD in biomedical engineering. Being a scientist, Negin takes a very technical approach to her art making, believing a deep understanding and knowledge of the subject matter are the key to a successful design.

Kindness to our Planet
Carbon offset with our donation to the Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor. Over 10% of profit from every Washi tape sold is donated to care for native wildlife and restore habitat.

How to Dispose of Sustainably
The cardboard box and core can go into your compost or recycling. Washi tape has a vegan adhesive made from water and a synthetic polymer. Whilst we have been unable to verify whether this means it's safe for home composting, small amounts of tape are fine to be put out with your paper recycling. We recommend checking with your local council first if you're not sure.
